Hello to all. I just joined this board. My question is what COAL should I expect? The barrel I have is a BHW 24” bull 8 twist. I’ve been reading about this cartridge for a while and found a guy selling this barrel because he wanted to go with the 6ar turbo 40. I’m sure I will be able to load Berger 95 or 105s out longer than I will be able to load nosler 80 or 100grns due to the design of the bullet. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sam.

You'll need to pick up the Sinclair Seating Depth Gauge and work with that to establish your COL The myriad of bullets makes MAX length all over the place on this chamber. I would invest in some of the ASC magazines that let you load out to 2.314 nominal. Leave the idea of only loading to 2.260 on the shelf . Some will be much longer others much shorter. Get an adjustable gas block for the set up and save yourself lots of headaches. Use Lapua brass if you want longevity. If CH4D has standard style sizers available if you don't want to deal with bushings.
I shoot 95 Nosler BT at 2.307 Hornady 87 BTHP at 2.200 Speer 70 TNT at 2.185
