Has anyone tried these? I'm not keen on the quad rail style - the Anderson's are smooth but come with rails you can attach if you want. Like that concept and they seem to be decently priced.

It looks a YHM OEM rebranded. It should be ok. For a straight tube the hoge is a more economic option and for hunting with the rubber grip offers a positive grip in all weather. Also warmer at touch in the winter time. Bare aluminum gets really cold. ...just some thoughts...

Thanks for the observations. Looked at the Hogue, but liked how the Anderson (YHM) comes with rails that you can add if desired. Then again, I could drill and tap holes in the Hogue - all I really want to install is a light.

I do believe a $10 inexpensive 10/22 picatiny rail will work. Also in the top. The main thing is you tap an anti-rotation set screw. All really inexpensive in the local ACE hardware store. All those other things are not worth what they charge for them. Again the hoge with rubber is a nice grip in the winter time. IF you hunt deer here in north east you appreciate anything that is not aluminum with the subzero weather.

I just ordered two of their 14.5" kits. and all the ejection port parts. their shipping calculator is a mess, so I had to place 2 identical orders to get four ejection port covers, cause the shipping was $42 if I tried to place 4 on the same order.
Does anyone know if their forearms work with any of the endcaps out there? a previous poster said these are YHM, but I din't see how they would work with a YHM endcap.

I found some cheaper free floating quad rails on ebay for under $90.00 with shipping in mid length
