Does anyone have chronograph or accuracy data/experience with these bullets or any other deer hunting type bullets in the 243lbc?
Would they require a 1-9 twist or would the 1-10 be fast enough?

The accuracy seems to vary from gun to gun as does the fouling. The 1:10 will handle the 80's and may handle the 100's. I haven't got a 243 LBC yet to prove it to myself.
I like the Nosler Partitions in 243 but I am kind of Old School. At least you would have a viable alternative if you aren't happy with the Barnes bullets down the road.

Not yet, but the 100gr Partition is going to be my goto hunting round for my 1 in 10 243LBC. I loaded some 95gr ballistic tips yesterday and shot for function, no groups or speeds yet.
Several of the pro-staff have shot the 95gr Berger VLD hunting bullet in the 1 in 10 and it shot perfectly, seems like speeds and some groups are on this forum somewhere for the 95 VLD.
Both of the bullets you mentioned are shorter than the Berger's, they should have no problem shooting from the 1 in 10.
The only thing I anticipate with the 100gr partition, is they probably will have to be loaded a little short to stop it from jamming into the lands, they are not a real pointy bullet, like the others. I had to load to 2.23 to stop the 100gr partition form getting stuck in the lands on my 6.5 PCC.
I am with Gregg, hard to beat a Partition for hunting, they are devastating on critters.
I like the terminal ballistic results I have seen with the tsx, and the ttsx, but I have never got them to shoot worth a dang from any of my guns, 2 MOA is unacceptable, when the same gun will shoot 1/2MOA with the Partitions.

I did see that post about a 95gr vld at 2965 through a 20" barrel, and figured that a more traditional 100gr deer bullet could probably get around the same velocity. Just looking for anybody who could tell me without a doubt it was true because they had done it.
I'm really liking the idea of 243win performance out of an ar15

Here is your accuracy report on the 100gr partition. Three shot group at 100 yards. I will run it through the chronograph after deer season, and let you know the speeds. Paul

Wolverine, What OAL are you using for the 100 gr partitions?

I think there is another thread that could be combined with this one but not sure if this is possible. Anyway... nothing really special. An RRA national match from the bench... 70gr TSX. 25gr varget. LC brass. 2.305 COAL

Looks like the accuracy is definitely there with the partitions.
Thanks for sharing and please post up the chronograph results when you get a chance.

Yes I did, the 100gr Partition is running right at 2800fps out of my 20'' barrel, it will be a 400 yard deer and hog hammer.
