I see notations that the gas tube will need to be a 1/4 in shorter...
how do I shorten a tube and reshape the end? i assume that you have to shorten it and that the BCG side is the spot to do it...
or are there off length tubes out there?
thanks. rich

Wouldn't it be easier to shorten the gas block side? just cut to proper lenght and drill to match the gas port and pin holes.

Can you cut that side down as its closed if you shorten it how to you re seal the end?
Im starting to think that im looking at this the wrong way the gas key might be the spot, cut reem done.

Is the shorter gas tube only required on the "LR" profiled barrels? Or is it all rifle length gas barrels?
