I picked up a couple 20-rounders this weekend and when I loaded them up tonight I realized that they are contoured (for lack of a better term) inside to fit the rounds in the mag.
Would this contouring preclude a 6X45 round being able to fit and function in these mags?

If they will work with a 5.56 they will work with a 6X45. There is no difference other than the diameter of the bullet.

I use them in my 6x45 and 6.5 PCC with no issues.

And I'll join in like the third Three Musketeer, the fat dumb one, Yes they will do fine. There are no cartridge specific magazines for the 6X45. The same mag will feed, 17 Fireball, 17/223, 17 Remington, 20 Tactical, 20 Practical, 221. Fireball, 300 Whisper, 223/556, 6X45 and 6 TCU and a whole bunch of other iterations off the same case too numerous for even me to rattle off. Greg

Thanks for the replies!
I thought it might be an obvious question, but I figured I would ask.

Again, like the others have said, they work fine. I have two uppers (5.56 & 6mm) and mark my PMAGs appropriately. I have found that the longest COL (Case Overall Length) I can load a 6x45 to is 2.258 and have completely reliable feeding. I've tried 2.260 and a bit longer but have experienced a hang-up or two with the PMAGs. There are some 5.56 mags that will allow a longer COL on 6x45 because they're steel mags without the rounded bits of a PMAG.
