Try a 40 S&W holder if you can't get the right one. You may surprise yourself!! Greg Awesome, IIRC that is the same as a 9mm, and I have a shell holder for that. thanks, Paul looks like I own page three

Greg PS: Own Page #3? I'll delete one of my posts and take over if I hear that bragging agian!!

Well, if you use a ONE SIZE FITS ALL OK but I can't use an RCBS #16, 9MM, on a 6X68 case. The Universal might be OK for the bigger case but I would never use one on an obviously smaller case head. I like my tolerances a bit tighter than that. YMMV. Greg PS: No LEE shell holders in the house. But I do have a Redding and an RCBS 30 Remington for the issue.

The case head size is not the issue, it is the neck of the case head diameter that counts, if the diameter is the same or pretty close the primer hole will be centered and that is what counts, not how much rim overlaps the holder.

Don't you think extracting the case from the sizer might require a bit more purchase by the holder? Greg

Not a question as to what , it's a question of I don't have one from the OP. ;D On a note of having one I just shot he best F-Class match I have had since I started earlier this year. 91 % with very consistent results today. The third string of 20 had enough wind change I had to add 15" , 3 MOA, at 500 yards to handle the variance from the previous string shot 30 minutes earlier!! The 6X68 got lots of interest from the "old Guard" today. They were impressed how it shot and are watching me just a tad more than they had before in my other natches. A bit more load development and they know I'll be in the hunt. Greg

Any ideas on when we can order the barrels Greg? The ad says after September. Lots of interest in them so maybe they might come off that date a tad. Greg

It should be real close, case head is .404/.414 or somewhere in there. Damn memory sucks.

Just looked it up .422, 42mag is .492. Wont work. #27 (10MM/40cal) .427 should work well. Both the 10mm and 6.8 use the 30.Rem as a parent case. also #6 (38/357mag) should work, .440 rim, in a pinch

I finally got around to measuring some targets using the 87 grain Hornady VMAX I shot earlier in the month. The top powder for the day was RL15. It keeps turning up on a regular basis and it has become one I want to try whenever I'm off to a new bullet. I'm still not pushing these hard and so far pressures have been good. Many cases are now on their seventh and eighth loading with good solid primer pockets. I was looking for a higher BC bullet than my current 87 grain Hornady HPBT and I think that this bullet will do the job once I explore a few more powders. Not earth shattering but certainly good for minute of coyote. Greg PS: Remember there is no published data on this cartridge and we are learning as we go.

Got to play with the 6x68 some today, I wish I was not so OCD on barrel break in, one shot-one clean takes too much time, dagumit. I ran out of light for the chrono before I wanted to. Here is the first 100 yard group, shots 4, 5, and six from my 20" barrel, this is with a 1 x 4 power scope that has a 1 MOA dot, with my Zeiss 6.5x20 It will tighten up some. Piggies are gonna die.

Very nice Paul. Change out your scope so we can see what it will really do.
