The brass will gain some capacity after it's been fired. The 31.5 grain load is what we are all shooting for the most part. It's a compressed load, but as far as I know no one has ever had a problem with it. The load work was done with SSA brass. That would be Pre Nosler. That is also the same brass the factory ammo is loaded with. Ritch, You made a point about the 6x6.8 load development being done in Pre Nosler SSA brass. Has the brass changed since Nosler took over?

The new Nosler brass is much softer and very inconsistent ,compared to the old SSA brass. I have some of the original SSA brass that I am still shooting. I have lost track of the times it has been loaded, but it's way over 10 times, and still going.

I'm surprised the quality has deteriorated since being taken over by Nosler. Does Nosler brass have the same problems? It sure shouldn't because Nosler brass is expensive. I think it costs as much or more than Lapua brass.

I would prefer to buy FC for consistency. Then Hornady, SSA /Nosler and Remington if you want large primers. Greg

Put your name on the list. It usually take about 2 weeks. Rocky Mountain Reloading also sells pull down brass.
