I am looking to see if there is a special barrel nut required for a bull barrel in a .264 lbc! Does anyone know if a normal barrel nut will work?

No special one needed unless your intended handguard requires one.
Otherwise it's profile is sufficient to work with a standard mil-spec one

I am looking to see if there is a special barrel nut required for a bull barrel in a .264 lbc! Does anyone know if a normal barrel nut will work? Normal nut required for this barrel. Industry standard pretty much precludes anything being different in that area. I have three bull barreled BHW uppers and all take normal nuts/ff tube setups. All the parts are mil-spec sized and while they are cosmetically different they are the same. Greg

I sure appreciate the input, just had heard through the grape vine that some barrel nuts needed to be opened up to fit a bull barrel, but ya never know if that is valid or not, ya know, everything on the internet is NOT true.....

When it comes to BHW barrels you won't have many surprises. They seem to shoot like a house on fire and if they don't things get done about it. Well......they won't pull the trigger for ya' but they will help!! Greg
