The RRS production is coming along. The seemingly simple design offers a high level of complexity in manufacturing. And thus a delay in getting to market.
One example of this complexity is the need is control unwanted compression of air and fluids. The finished parts work great, but the mold making process to allow the synthetic parts to accomplish this is quite complex.

Well Greg, since no one else has chimed in, you must not be the only one that missed it. If my WIFE had her own IPSC rifle that was not a light kicker, then I would put the first recoil reducer on HER gun. You have one of the rare wives, if she enjoys the shooting sports with you, you had better take GOOD CARE of her. P.S. I was not talking about the prototypes that you are testing. ;D ;D Well the wife doesn't shoot hers much at this time and she "loans" it to me for close in down and dirty carbine matches that are 75 yards or less. My plan is to get TWO of the rifle length ones. One for my varmint/IPSC lower that I have been using a lot lately and one for hers. My 13 pound F-Class doesn't need one. A carbine version will go in my 10" M16 as an adjunct to the DTA Mil Brake I run on it. Greg

Wow! This is a great idea and product. I smashed my face pretty bad years ago playing football in college. This has made me seriously recoil shy. As a competitive shooter, even the M14 NM gave me pounding headaches. So does the AR10 platform. Shooting the .264lbc is OK for me but this would surely help during extended dog shooting in South Dakota.
Can't wait for this product. I certainly understand the development process and I'm confident that once Carl is finished--it'll be another excellent product.

I watched this video several weeks ago, and I was really impressed with what I saw.. I am Definitely interested in 2 of these Bad Boys in Carbine Length. One for my 223 Wylde to help with the slight kick, and One for my 300 Blackout to see if this one will make it Run Quieter when shooting suppressed??
Somebody please put me down for 2 in Carbine Length and 2 for the regular rifle length. One of the Rifle length BPRR's will be used in my 18" & 20"~ .264 LBC - Ar-15's .
This is the Best thing I've heard since in a LoNg TiMe.. I would Gladly Buy a Prototype so I could try it out Quicker ;D

I'm sure that when they come up for retail sale that the BHW guys will get first dibs. Buy a prototype? Then it would not be a work in progress would it? Relax and the one you get will be even better than the ones in the clips. Trust me on that!! Greg

I really wonder if it will make my 300 Blackout run any smoother or quieter when I am shooting suppressed? It sounds like a low pressure air gun of some type, so I think it's really quiet, but I'm still new at using them but man they are Awesome.

It will be smoother and softer and maybe a tad quieter but the smoothness is what is surprising. No bugs really just a matter of getting the molding up and running and switching to a better material that will make it even softer when it recoils over the ones I tested. Greg
