What kind of power are you expecting? What velocity with what weight bullet. Dave

Sweet. How far is the shoulder blown forward over the Grendel? 30 or 40 degree? Talk about a piggie hammer. ;D
Wild BRD is so much more expensive than BRD.

I have it being blown out to a 40 degree shoulder, After talking with Dave about what i was wanting to do , He said he has did a couple in the past like this and they were real winners. And it will be getting the full potential out of 6.5 Grendel Brass. I will be shooting mostly 125 and 130's but will play with the 110's up to 150's And after Carl comes out with the Magnum uppers we have a few more Wildcats that will follow in those receivers.

Yes i think its going to be a Great caliber that will fill the need for a 30 CAL Ar 15. With the Great choices in 30 cal bullets it will be a Great Big Game and Hog hammer.
All the info on the 30 Major, 30 Walker and 30 HRT look real good to me and this one Will have a Few More grains of powder capacity behind it so it should be a Good solid 300 yd 30 cal.

Hi Billy, Looks like an exciting project. I think you may have trouble fitting the 150s into your .034-long throat. If you really want to go that heavy, recommend you use a .095 throat. This assumes a .660 ogive length for a 147gr FMJ and .010 insurance fitting into a 2.300 magazine.
