Ok, so I have a few rounds down the tube, and I am checking things to make sure everything is good, and as I eject a loaded round, I see a dimple on the primer, from what I am told by my local gunsmith this is normal, but he told be to only use CCI military primers, I have around 10 rounds down range, and have not had any double fires or fires on loading. Do I need to switch from my match primers over to the cci? any help or advice would be appreciated!

I recommend the Rem 7/12 BR's but the REGULAR CCI's work fine. I have NEVER loaded a CCI Mil Spec. Never had a slam fire and at last count I have loaded over 20,000 223/556 rounds. Greg

Fed match have a softer primer? Yes. You want a primer that wlil handle pressure. Use 7 1/2 or the CCI 400 or 450 primers Greg
