So, I got my barrel just before I went on vacation. I finally got a chance to get it built out and take it to the range. (Sorry, no pics yet) The build specs are as follows: Upper: Aero Precision Upper parts kit from JSE surplus with Spikes Pirate dust cover Black Hole Weaponry LTR 20" barrel in 6X45 YHM low profile gas block Hogue Overmolded Rifle-lenght handguard in OD Green Lower: Custom lower from Zombie Defense in Henrico, VA PSA LPK w/o fire control Chip McCormick fire control group - tactical w/straight trigger ERGO OD green grip I loaded up some ammo using once fired Federal .223 brass with a load of 20.5 grains of AA2200 and Hornady 87 grain SSP bullets (blem bullets from Midway). I forgot my magazines at home, so I was single loading everything. All of my groups were less than 2" with my best group (5-shot) being just over an inch. There were some slight ejector swipes on the brass, so I will probably back off a half grain on this load, but I am completely stoked that a gun that I built from the ground up shoots as well as this one does. And, I have my BHW T-shirt coming too!

In my experience AA 2200 is a bit fast for those big bullets. You might have a better luck with something like RL15, H4895, 748 of CFE223. I use 2200 for SMOKING 40 grain 223 oads.
The RL15 and H4895 are about identical and I found it a toss up in my groups. I went with RL15 for my 500 yard F-Class loads.

Thanks Greg.
I am having good luck with AA2200 in my 6.8SPC, so I figured it might work in the 6X45.
I will try some RL15 and H4895. I also have some 75 grain bullets to try as well.

I thought I had some RL15 down in the reloading cave, but it was RL17. So, I loaded up some more 87s with XBR 8208 instead. I went with a ladder to see if the gun likes that powder. If not, I will try some 4895 or 3031. The 3031 is a bit bulky, but it works great in my 7TCU.
I am going to have some fun with this one.
I have a State Park coming up in December and I really hope to have this gun ready to go for it.
