So with my sever case of ADD when it comes to my guns I got to thinking (after I bought 1,000 35gr Bergers). I was looking at the B.C. of the .20 cal. 55 gr Bergers and they are right there with the 70gr .22cal in B.C.. Now my question is has anyone tried them in a 20practical ? What kind of speed, could I expect. Im wanting to crunch numbers and look at down range numbers (300-500 yards). Is this bullet going to be doggy coming from the 223 case? It looks like a good option for a 20-250.

It looks like a good option for a 20-250. Greg and my self have shot the 55's in a 20 LBC. My barrel is a 24 inch standard profile. I was getting around 3500 FPS IIRC. The problem you will find with a .223 case is the bullet is to long to be seated for use out of a magazine. It would have to be fired single shot. Also your velocity might be low enough that the bullet would not stabilize out of a 10 twist. Your right this would be a great option for a 20-250. For myself I personally would not do it. A 22-250 with a 75 gr bullet will out do it, and the bullets are $10.00 a box cheaper to shoot.
