Thought I would post up a picture of the first group Ritch shot with a new BHW wildcat under development. We have been working on this project for about six months and it is starting to come together. Target was 100 yards. Group measured 0.398 CTC for five shots. Load was one chosen at scientific random. Velocity was right on projected speed. Once we shake them down we will be publishing up the results and some general load guidelines. Until then start eying that piggy bank. There will be something for everyone on this project. Greg

Those don't look like very big holes. Do you mind letting us in on the caliber? Too bad it isn't a .358. Brian

Well here is a another peek behind the curtain. This is from the SECOND chambering of the wildcats coming out. Ritch shot the first group yesterday. This is the second chambering that Ritch and I are doing. 100 yard group and no I won't tell you the cartidge........yet. 0.572 with a five group average of right on 0.525 with five different loadings shot in heavy mirage. Velocity was 3285 and no strain with actual pressure testing done that showed well in the safe area. Here is a group shot today by Ritch in the second chambering as above. Different bullet 100 yards, Velocity was 3775. This is a five shot group. He shot five loads working up for pressure testing and this one was the MAX for safe pressures. Of the five four produced groups under 0.5. I would say that chambering #2 is a winner, wouldn't you? Greg

Here is a peek at Bullet # 3 in the second chambering. This one was bit bigger but OK at 3775. 100 yards Five shots and a 20-30 cross wind. Ritch says it will do much better. Once again pressures were good though this one was tad warmer. Safe but no more go juice for this one. BTW this was the first five shots on this load with a dirty/cold bore. Greg
