I got my new Black hole barrel from you guys. I got the 6x45 20 inch barrel Does anyone have some good shooting loads for something like this?? I keep them on the paper at 100 yards but that's really not saying much. Do these barrels like lighter bullets or heavy ones, I was shooting 100 gr. bullets , now i"m having trouble getting 6mm bullets

Are you are shooting the 1 in 10 twist, with 100 grain bullets??
The heaviest i have been able to shoot good was 85's in the 1 in 10 barrels. 6x45, We have had good luck with the 95 Bergers in the 6mm ---243 LBC barrel, But i havnt tried them in the 6x45 yet.

I've never gotten much over the 87 grainers to work in my 1:10 6X45's. I have not tired any Berger's as they were not available and I felt that the 87 grain velocities were at a break over point for the trade off.

You would likely need a 1:9 twist for 95gr. and Up in the 6X45 round...
Didn't I hear/read that Carl has the 1:9 twist Barrel Button in from there vendor ?
Yes we do have the 1x9 tooling and have some blanks done at this time Thankyou

well, now Im a happy camper, and would be happier if someone wouild tell me what the twist on my 20" 3R barrel is. (it's one that was on sale) I loaded up a batch of 75 rounds last night 25 rounds in each small batch. I used H4895, H322 and BL(C)2. With the H4895 I shot a group of five out of six rounds that measured .33 inch at 100 yards off a rest, and the wind was blowing basely in my face, kinda.. The H322 didn't do quite as good, about a 1 1/2" at 100 yards. and the BL(C)2 wasn't near as good. but I 've now got one really good load. "O" I was shooting Hornady 75gr HP's. yes, I have the target and can send pictures. ok, now know at polygonal barrel with shot. Pat

I shot some benchmark out of mine with 75gr sierra's and they shot pretty good. Still have to tweak the load a little. But it will shoot close to 1in groups at 100yds.

I may get a nice BHW 6X45 w/ a 20" tube for my son once the 1:9 twist barrels are ready... ;D
It will make a great first centerfire caliber/rifle for youngsters and women that is accurate and has minimal recoil/blast...and has sufficient power for up to medium size game animals.
Plenty of very good high quality 6mm pills...very easy to reload for and very cost effective to reload w/ little to no need for timming cases.

As of right now they are still undergoing preliminary testing so we have not yet determined if/when they will be available.
