I was wondering if anyone has used a Battle Tested Equipment, Set Screw Micro Adjustable Gas Block made out of high carbon steel before and how reliable are they. It's going on a BHW 24" build I'm doing. Its my first build so if there is a better adjustable gas out there can someone please give me some advice on one. All help is appreciated.

I have two of them. One for a BHW 18" mid-gas 6x45mm and one for a BHW 18" mid-gas American 30. They are well made and work 100%.

I have somewhere around 10-12 of them. They are my go to block for most of my builds. Ritch has quite a passel too. I'll be getting another three or four for ongoing builds and retrofitting a 6X45 rebuild this next week.
Fit has been outstanding and easy to use. A dab of RTV is all you need and time at the bench.

I really appreciate everybody's help on this build, and I'm sorry about all the questions on this, but now I'm wondering what's better, a micro carbon steel set screw adjustable gas block or a micro stainless steel adjustable clamp on. The 24" BHW Barrel is dimpled so will any set screw gas block work or is their a particular kind that BHW uses. What would be more secure between the to and not damage the barrel. Just don't want to order the wrong parts. Thanks again for all the help.

I have them both. Clamp on would be my choice. It has less potential for scratching the barrel.
