I've started messing with my 6x45 again. AR-Comp is one of the few powders available locally. I thought about giving it a try and am wondering if anyone has tried it and some load data. Primarily in 75 and heavier bullets.
Thanks!

I haven't shot it yet but just go to Alliant and grab their 223 data. Start at their MAX for bullet weight and move up. Probably no more than 1.5-2 grains tops but YMMV.

Just sayin I was given a load by a long range,&3gun shooter, 26gr with a 87gr Vmax. It sounded way hot to me. So I worked up real slow. He runs it at mag length 2.260" Crazy velocity and accuracy I run it at 2.3" Case head expansion in line book loads primers are better than with other powders. for what that is worth case life and primer pockets are not showing any unusual signs I run Rem 71/2 primers in all my ARs in my gun Case head expansion got unpredictable at about 4% higher. As there is no published data use at your own risk.By the way it is a compressed load. Before you go with any Experimental loads i would find my free bore length and insure i was not jamming a bullet into the lands. Please do not take any short cuts.

If you go to the regular Hornady 87 HPBT you could pick up some case capacity by seating out to the AMAX length. Every little bit helps and if you are shooting 300 or less you'll never miss the BC.
