I don't doubt that there may have been issues with the record keeping but come on, I think that this administration has been all over advertising how they are going after those evil guns, especially those terrible AR-15's. I think that this is more grandstanding by the current regime.

The broke several laws on their end unfortunately. This was not their first rodeo with the BATFE They are already in talks for sale to another company.

I don't doubt that laws were broken. But I can tell you that some of the dealers I know have had far more issues with BATFE with this administration than they had before. I am not defending breaking the law. It is the law but what used to be manageable issues that were correctable have become more aggressively pursued under this administration.

Beyond a doubt pressures are up from that group. It is my understanding that while they were correctable they did not do that in the past. This was result of the same violations previously found. The business wasn't shuttered and will continue on. For that we should all be glad. No jail time was handed out from what I can determine so I would say that all STAG management got off a bit lighter than some expected. Greg
