ordered my 2nd remington barrel and 3rd bhw barrel. these barrels are nice and bhw does a fine job turning them out. my latest one is a 556 1-8 twist 22 inches long to put on a rem short action. i have yet to get a few parts such as a stock, trigger, scope and rings before she will be shooting any thing. i got to order a peice at a time or my wife questions me. im sure she will be a shooter as my other 2 do well.

unfortunatly my wife isnt fond of guns. i dont know why exactly just aint her thing. on the other hand i have a sick addiction to them, im already thinking about the next one while only getting the parts together for the current build. i already added 3 new guns to the invitory this year and will probly do another. one thats been on my mind is a 458X2 american and i think i know were the barrel is comming from already.

went out again yesterday weather wasnt to nice wind was only about 30 mph blowing my targets in the wind. probly could have been a little better but she still didnt do half bad. those were all the 223 77 smk over varget. i also took my. BHW 7 mag out it did pretty decent as well those were factory 139 gr hornady whitetail loads. stacks them in there pretty good. there is the pair of remage BHW conversions.

That's good shooting under those conditions. I use to deal with them in Oklahoma all the time. It taught me patience.

took my 7 mag out to 800 today. started out at 200 shot a group could have been better but not bad at a little over two inches. then to 3 and another group at just under 2 inches. then to 400. shot a group about 3 1/2 inches. then went to 600, by this time the wind was starting to pick up a bit shot a group right abot 4 1/2 inches but off the target i had on an old piece of board. adjusted for wind and a few extra clicks of elevation and another 4 1/2 inch group. then tried 800 and wind was not my friend . printed a decent group off the target i was aiming at. right at 5 inches . it was about 16 inches low and to the left. tried adjusting and over adjusted as i only had one hit on my target. ran out of loaded ammo for it. overall a great day with the rifle it shoots pretty good. it just needs its owner to practice at distance more
