Here are today's best results. Load is 95gr Vmax with AA brass and CCI SR primers. started at 28.5gr and went up to 30.5 with 8208XBR powder best group is the bottom one at .71" and I think if it wasn't for the idiot behind the trigger it would've been better, I think I can tighten it up more though. both groups are 4 shots btw the 29.5gr load was running at about 2675fps and no pressure issues. 30.5 gr showed slight flattening of the primer.

I must apologize but maybe you could tell me which cartridge this is? There are a lot of 95 grain VMAX bullets in the world. Is this a 6 MM or a 6.5?

Looking over the BC of that bullet etc. that would be a great bullet for antelope out to about 300 or so. A hit would be easy and plenty of oomph when it hits.

Just did a ballistic modeling test for the Hornady 95gr. V-Max.
It looks like this w/ 24" Bbl. using H335 powder:
Avg. Fire Formed Case Capacity: 33.42 grs. (33.72 grs. Max. using H335 powder)
COL: (Max.) 2.295" (Min. 2.260" w/ slightly reduced capacity)
Velocity: 2,892 fps., Energy: 1,764 ft/lbs., Pressure: 54,947 PSI
Can't wait till I get to the field for testing...
