I was getting some good nicks on the shoulder and neck on my brass from the barrel extension. i deburred the two lugs that seemed to be causing the issue. Now I’m only getting a scuff mark on the shoulder and one small nick on the neck anyone else getting this on their .264, none of my other ar calibers do this.

A bit more buffing on those lugs may help. Also smooth the edges of your magazine feed lips. I also attache a 5/8" square of VELCRO to my shell defelctors and most of my brass comes out pretty pristine. It also lowers the incidence of dented case mouths. Greg
