Looks like gpc brass will work with out fire forming. Just neck up and bump the shoulder where needed.

Isn't the GPC a 27 case in it's original design so would need to be necked down not up?

I had been talking to a bunch of guys on the 6X6.8 over the last few days. Yeah you will be fine but trimming will be needed with what ever you use. I wouldn't bother using the GPC at all if it were I. Generic 6.8 would be a bit more available and cheaper. The shoulder massage on the 6.8 will be fine with standard stuff and you won't see any true accuracy difference at all. Greg

Problem with my chamber is fire forming I've found depending on the 6.8 brass the shoulder is back far enough it dont fire just necking it up so I have to load long or do the cornmeal method

You must have one of the tall shoulder later production chambers. The GPC would be ideal for that problematic issue. One could also use HAGAR brass but that's a long row to hoe to get there.
