95gr Barnes TTSX from 24" BHW barreled AR.

I'm guessing 6.8, right?
What type scope? Bench rested , off a bipod or from prone? Any special trigger on this one?
Lots of questions I know but I believe that with some more tuning you can get them shooting very well. Considering you are shooting in a rain and 42 degrees that is darn good!
I was in 42 degree weather once but then I realized it was only a day dream here in Phoenix. (110 as I type this and last groups with the 20 LBC were shot at 112!!)

I was just about the ask the same question, Greg: What caliber is this? and I am assuming it is 6.8 SPC.

It is a 6.8spc
And I'll reaffirm the same things that have been posted elsewhere also:
1. Rifle length gas system is allowing too gas to travel backwards with the faster burning powder. The 95gr is a different animal.
2. Is this powder and loads loaded in different temp and barometric pressure than when you shot them? Is it a temp sensitive powder?
Definitely look into aa2200.

I am back..
Yes it is a 6.8mm SPC (270 Kurtz)
6 power Leupold with the huge duplex that darn near covers the target. Stock military trigger. A2 butt stock. C-products magazine. Fired over a couple sandbags.
H-4198 and H-322 are not temp sensitive. RL-7 & RL-10x are not all that bad either.
Only the RL-7 and H-4198 caused short stroking. I need to fix that entry.
The H-4198 works OK with 90 grain bullets. Just not 95s. Weird..... RL-7 does not work well with my rifle length gas system.
These were loaded the same day they were fired at an Altitude of 1,000 ft MSL. Baro pressure was 28.96 at the time of firing. Next weekend will probably be colder since we are dropping into the 30s at night in my area.
I vibrate the cases to settle the powder. It makes a huge difference.
There is NO AA-2200 powder in the State of Alaska. I have some on order after performing several unnatural acts.
