Hi Yes!. After waiting for the tracking nr. that didn't arrive I contacted Stacy and she said that the barrel didn't pass the inspection but they were working on a new one right away. My order is from late August. So the barrel will be ready in the next few days she said. She is very quick to reply, cordial and helpful in deed!! My buddy Steven and my brother in law already got theirs on time for Christmas. Sorry to hear about the hunt. I know how bad you wanted to try the AR.

Hey congrats! Are you going to make it for the hunt? I hope so. My upper is getting desperate for some love mating. Stacy e-mailed me. She is going to tell me soon.
Do not accelerate the break in, it is not worthy. Or just clean the bore between each pig you pop!!!

heya, 1Shot, I'm *almost certain* your BBL just hit my laser. I'm sending it to shipping right now. You'll probably get a message from Stacy in a little bit when she gets back from lunch.

"Almost certain" is good! Many thanks for the updates. I will start dusting off the receiver and anxiously waiting for that magic tracking nr. and hopefully can put some time back on the hobby during the weekends. Many thanks for everything. I understand sometimes things just happen.

The barrel arrived today but now I have a problem. I ordered a 1:9 barrel (originally only 1:10 available at the time of order on Aug.30th 2011) but then Stacy changed to 1:9 twist in September as I requested. So the dilemma is, I got 400 rounds I ordered of Berger VLD 95gr and I am not sure the 1:10 can stabilize them at long range otherwise I wouldn't mind the 1:10. I sent them a note already. I will call in the morning. I am not sure if it is just me with bad luck or something but I feel this project is dragging way too long. Any recommendations on the twist anyone would be very helpful. I will try to keep it positive. Thanks.

The 6mm/.243 95gr Berger VLD's are reccommended to run a minimum 1:9 twist (or faster) according to my data...It (ballistic program) reccommends a 1:7 twist. Now, being that its a P3 rifled bore the 1:9 twist should be fine.
Hope it helps.

Hey 1shot,
Gave you a call today. I would love to get this taken care of for you right away so that you can have the twist your looking for with the bullets that you ordered. I already have one running through the process for you.

Andy, Sorry I was in meetings all day. I just left you a v.mail back. The twist was 1:9. Talk to Stacy she has the order confirmation. If you are going to cut a new one see if you can thread it to 5/8x24 or 9/16x24 at the muzzle. I suggest you offer that option too in the future to anything above .22 caliber or even in that caliber too. We might be able to do something with this one by cutting to 18" for hunting with lighter bullets or something so it does not goes to waist. let me know and many thanks for the courtesy of your call.
I have some folks here from the local leagues waiting anxiously for some test results and I got an article we are running and I am due to finish sometime before the spring. The expectations for the 24" 3x poly are high in the pool of tests with other systems. There is a nice following here with the alternative calibers.
Sincerely. E.

Andy, Last week Ivan (I think) told me the 1:9 replacement barrel should be ready by now. Do you know? Thanks. E.

Stacy, Andy, I sent emails and left voice mails but didn't hear from anyone. Did you send the barrel? Thanks. E.
