I am looking for a light weight scope mount for a 1" scope, say a lightweight 2X7 on a flat top receiver. The mounts I have seen seem to be trying to make people think they are ready to go out and survive WW III. I am looking for a simple mount that will get the front ring out past the flat top Piccadilly rail.
Thanks, Carl

Might be a little low for some folks though.

Was that the game reaper or freedom reaper?

Was that the game reaper or freedom reaper? Freedom I believe is the only one for picatinny rails.

Brandon, all the pix show the screw heads coming out on the ejection side, are they reversible?

Are you looking for best quality, or best price?
AR stoner on sale at midway for $50 right now.
I use LaRue QD, in my opinion the best you can buy, for my needs. I have a 6x20 in one and a 1x4 in another, both sighted in on the same gun. If it is bean field hunting or CQ brush stalking, I pop on the appropriate scope and I am gtg. They hold perfect zero.

They all seem over built. Just looking for something to hang a light scope on for hunting. Never needs to come off.

Brandon, all the pix show the screw heads coming out on the ejection side, are they reversible? No it's not reversible and they do not make one for the opposite side. Why do you need it that way? It does not effect function or ejection on the ejection side. And I'm referring to the freedom reaper forward ring picatinny series. There are the standard picatinny rail series that you can obviously switch around and even add qd levers to as well.

The RRA is 10.7 oz, it is pretty heavy, but the price is right.

Yes that is heavy but that would be ok for me for a long range type of setup where a few extra ounces might work for your advantage.
I will be ordering one to give them a try. I found those little ones I posted to be adequate for carry/ hunting.
Some folks do not like UTG but I do not see anything wrong with it. I got a quad rail for one of my piston uppers that is cut by UTG pro made in the US and I have yet to find anything wrong with it. I have troy, Daniel and others and I do not see the UTG Pro is less rigid, more flimsy or anything. But it is 1/4 of the cost of the daniel defense.
I have a few other mounts from different makes and price points but they are heavier. I can find some pics if anyone is interested.

I've used the same UTG on several of my long range uppers and often remove the scopes. They return to zero if you are careful not to over torque them. For the price you can't beat them.
