I am using CCI 400's or Remington 7 1/2's I have had no issues with either one.

Do you think the magnums would add anything? I ask because I've got a gift card to a place that stocks a bunch of primers but not much else. I'm gonna stock up on them and was trying to decide between 400s and 450s.... I loaded the 450s in my 6x45...

I don't think it will matter either way. I would shoot what I had as long as it was a hard primer.

Awesome, thanks! I'm gonna load up next week... I'm gonna start piecing the 243 together bit by bit.. Those ballistics are just too good to say no!

I am using CCI 450's, they have worked just fine. With these kind of groups, I will keep using them. Paul

WOW is what I was thinking, I have a custom built sniper bolt gun, built by the gunsmith that built most of the SWAT bolt guns in this area, that does not group this well.
20'' barrel.
I have not run it across my chronograph yet, I was intending to chrono it last night, but it started raining.
I have no doubt the 55 and 58 will group just as tight.
I hope to load and test the 58gr V-max soon, there are some yotes around here that need to intercept one.
There are some hogs that have a date with the 100gr partition from my 243LBC, and my 6.5PCC, in a couple weeks.
