Okay so I am waiting on my barrel trying to be patient . In the mean time I am practicing on my zombie eradication techniques with a incomplete rifle and wondering what a good round for the barrel's break in procedure would be? which is better .223 or 5.56? anybody have any suggestions

Okay so I am waiting on my barrel trying to be patient . In the mean time I am practicing on my zombie eradication techniques with a incomplete rifle and wondering what a good round for the barrel's break in procedure would be? which is better .223 or 5.56? anybody have any suggestions I'm very particular on my break in ammunition. They must be of the proper chambering and get the bullet all the way out the barrel. For the BHW I will do tomorrow I'll actually shoot some 69 grain Sierra MK's for the chore so I can get n paper and see some chronograph numbers for the powder I want to use. After I do that I'll shot up some match ammo I loaded years ago for one of my bolt guns with the 52's in them to see how they group and what speeds I have. As for 556 or 223 it makes no never mind what you use. I like to have a baseline on 55 grain 556 stuff with all my rifles so I can see how far I can come from factory fodder. Greg
