Sorry for the late post guys, but it is here. The UPS driver dropped off a 24x24x6inch box full of goodies around 3:45pm. Man is this upper sweet, 20 inch barrel, threaded muzzle, birdcage flash hider, solid receiver with deeply engraved t marks. I am a happy boy. I will be at the range tomorrow firing single feed just to get some trigger time. My magazines should be here Saturday or Monday depending on the big brown truck. Pleased does not even begin to describe my feelings. IF you know anyone in SC who is on the fence about BHW products send them my way, I will show them the light.
Pictures will be posted tomorrow after happy happy trigger time. Can't wait to see the groups these little screamers can do.
A special thank you to Carl for the quick reply to my earlier question. BHW is a special group of people, I hope to get out to Moses Lake to meet you guys in person some day.
Man this upper is sweet. Ammo looks great, I have a solid wall of 6x6.8 down the middle of my dining room table.

Congratulations. You are now part of the Inner Circle. Your secret handshake and decoder ring will be delivered next week. The key word to the puzzle is "TINY GROUPS"
Enjoy the BHW experience and post frequently and often.

The UPS drivers must have been in Ka-Hoots, because after waiting all day, he also arrived around 3:45 yesterday at my place. Of course there is one other explanation, the UPS driver might be SANTA CLAUSE and can be in two places at once. I need to get off the computer and go shoot my new 6x68 before the wind gets up. Bye !! ;D

Shot it for the first time, ran 2 dry patches through first before we shot the 1st 5 shots. I can't wait to get off work today to finish the break in process!!! An 18" upper with the Magpul CTR buttstock, my rifle feels balanced really well. Thank you dad (Swamp Fox) and Black Hole Weaponry. I'm super excited, and it's better than Christmas ;D

An 18" upper with the Magpul CTR buttstock, my rifle feels balanced really well. So it feels balanced? It seems like it would still be a bit front heavy. I'm building a 14.5" barrel rifle in the next six months and I'm torn on what stock and barrel profile to use. Magpul CTR or ACS-L for the stock and not sure on the profile. You have a fantastic looking rifle and I know it will shoot like a dream!

Range Report: I just got in from the range. 6x68 is one amazing shooter. In the Rack: This is how it was equipped today. 20" BHW 1x9 P3 with flash hider. First Primer: First primer from the first shot. A little flat for "Factory" ammo ;D. The little pills were making a big dust cloud when they impacted the berm, and the guys on both sides of me were asking about what it was. Last Five Shot Group of the Day: This was my last group of the day. After this one I packed up because this is as good as I have shot in quite a while. Not too bad for a bottom of the barrel Bushnell scope, shooting off my Allen sandbags with the guy next to me shooting his Browning A-Bolt with the Boss in place. I was flinching every time he fired a round, as the muzzle break was blasting me in the side of the face. Overall Impression: Amazing shooter. It out shoots my 5.56 BHW barrel. I think the biggest difference is the ammo and my care when shooting it. Hopefully I can get my 5.56 dialed in to close to my 6x68. Better glass on top with a finer crosshair may help some as well. I can not wait for my next range session to see what I can wring out of it next. Joe

I can't wait to get back out to the range with this rifle. I shoudl receive my magazines on Tuesday. I am very happy with the last group I shot. It is actually a 5 shot group, one of the holes is a double. If you take away the flier, the one that actually hit the dot, it is a four shot group into a little more than an inch at 100 yards. With some work, hopefully the fliers will become less and less.

A good trigger and a good scope make all the difference in the world. Then start reloading and get it fine tuned. There are more combinations out there than you can believe. You could shoot a barrel out trying them, and you still wouldn't get to try them all. Just pick a few bullets you want to use and go from there.

Any recommendations on a bullet to try out? I would like to try something on the heavier end of the spectrum. Midway has a 95 grain Nosler Balistic Tip Spitzer on sale right now fo 13.89 a box. Any ideas on a good place to start load wise?
It will be a little while before I start reloading as I need to order my dies.

Also the 70 grain peer TNT for a mid-weight. I have had good luck with the 85 grain Sierra Game Kings also. Greg

I'm going to get the PRS model, and a spike's tactical Nickel Boron bolt assembly for it too. As far as another build, I want a suppressed 300 Blackout but I really like the .458 SOCOM...it stops cars! Ms. Kizmit...more of my teacher than a rivalry Oh yeah!, I'm a SouthPaw shooter LOL
