I couldn't hunt yesterday so I went on my first turkey hunt of the year this morning. Called up this nice gobbler and sent a load of #5's his way. He has 1"spurs and a 9.5" beard. Not too bad for 1 hour of hunting. Dave Attachments:

Yea Billy, The hunt was almost too fast. I called him up and had him in hand by 6:40 this morning. I never pass on a bird the first day that I would want to kill on the last day of season. Dave

Congrats on the turkey. Its amazing when the Turkey gods align and everything works when you call and are able to draw one in. Ten minutes can be a lifetime....luv it when they puff and strut.....I have some picture somewhere where I was lucky enough to shot a bird with long enough spurs that I hung him on my mother in laws clothes line for some cool pictures. good memories ready to create some new ones bought a crossbow that needs to get its opportunity.
