This is a group I shot with my 18" BH rifle length barreled SPR. I used a YHM stripped upper and lower a YHM low profile gas block, a YHM free float forearm and a R-guns nickel boron bolt carrier group and an A-2 stock. This group was shot at 190 yards with military mk262 mod 1 ammo. Attachments:

Very nice! I have the 18" rifle length gas system barrel coming to me AND I just ordered the 20" version as well.
I look forward to getting them completed and seeing what they will do,

tried out some nosler 55gr varmigeton loads with 27 gr of varget yesterday and was shooting sub-moa at 200, this barrel is not finicky at all. shot some small frozen acorn squash we missed in the barn at 200 yards and it wasn't even a challenge so after we blew them up with the first shot we started vaporizing the little peices. Great fun for the kids and a confidence builder. Been calling coyote the last week with no takers, cant wait to see how these new noslers work, fur is pretty high right now so trying to find a bullet that doesnt exit or at least is not too damaging.

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of glass do you have mounted on top there?

I'm using a nikon p-223 3-9 scope, I'm surprised at how clear the glass is, love the way it is set up. You can set elevation with either the target knob graduations or the bdc rings.

Thanks all! I picked up a can of AR-comp and have been trying it out with 55gr varmagedons, 50gr v-max and 77gr smk's. So far the groups have not been as good as varget but no 100 yard group has been over 1" most are around .75. This is normal though with a first run of reloads, just need some more tweaking. I will say ar-comp is very clean. Will update if I find some super loads. I was worried about the 50gr bullets being accurate in a 1-8 twist but they seem to shoot well all groups were under .75 for the v-max's. The wind reallt affects them compared to the heavier bullets (30 mph gusts today).

18" rifle gas (SPR) is my favorite although a 20" rifle gas shoots softer. Your range report was truly inspiring. I was going to order a 16" and now you have me re-thinking an 18" The Nikon m-223 is a Monarch line materials scope that I love and highly recommend. Crystal clear glass, high quality, not too pricey.

Nice shooting! Can't wait to get the last of my parts in (mostly waiting to find a BCG...) so I can finish my build.
