Do you guys have any more info on this cartridge? Looks more cost effective than the .204 and just as accurate.

I've been shooting one for a little over a year now and it is a great cartridge. I have got a lot of my reloading and info for this round fro 6mmbr by doing a search. Basically I run the same powder for both the 223 and the 20pr. The dies can be a little expensive but if you already have a redding s bushing die for the 223 then you just need a 20 cal decapping pin and I use a .225 and .228 bushing. I have not crono'd it yet but it is nice to see the bullet holes appear on the target at 100yds. If you need anything else let me know.

as far as I know right now, it'll be offered as a custom chambering.

The cartridge is a smart step for the guy that wants a 20 caliber and doesn't want to pay the freight for factory 204 ammo/brass. Since a basic 556/223 case can be used the cost is very minimal and if you loose one in the brush you don't cry quite as long.
Ballistically it will be identical, for all practical purposes, as the 204 Ruger and the 20 Tactical. I shoot a 20 Tactical on an AR and it is a great cartridge. I also shoot three 204's in bolt guns and I cannot tell the difference down range. The PD's I whack sure don't hold up score cards!!
The 20 Tactical is made by moving the shoulder back on a 223 about 0.015 or so. Pretty easy to do in about two steps. I will size/trim a 223 case, then run them through a 20 Tactical FL die that necks the case down. Very simple to do.
The 20 PRACTICAL is a one step deal just like the 6X45 except that you are necking down instead of necking up. A bushing die set up fro 223 with a 20 caliber bushing will pop those 20 PRACTICAL cases out like pop corn at the cinema.
I firmly believe the PRACTICAL is the most practical of all the 20's out there. Once you suck it up and pay a bit extra for the dies it is a piece of cake.
I also believe that a fellow should coat his bullets with MOLY or DANZAC to avoid fouling when you are shooting those little hummers at 3800+. I do this on all my 20 caliber loading and am very pleased with the results.
