Has anyone used the Mag Tactical lowers? They are the ones made from magnesium and are lighter. I was going to just rob a lower from something else but kinda have a bug to use something different. I am looking for the good and the bad about them. Thanks, Brian

I have one. Can't say a bad thing about it. Fit and finish are as good as any of the top end lowers out there. This is where it lives. Over head gun rack in my Yamaha Rhino. This is it on the bench ready to shoot.

I am thinking about using this on my 6.8 build

I'm not sure why they went with the longer pins. They have reinforced the area where the pins are. It doesn't seem to matter as far as function or reliability. Their design works so I never questioned it. My lower is on a 6X68 so it would be perfect for a 6.8 build.

That's good. I ordered 6 of them for the shop and we have sold 3 of them but I haven't heard any feedback from my customers. I will probably try it then

Thanks, Brian I know this is old but I am new here but Mag Tactical is located 15 minutes from me and I know David Lynch and have used their lowers for all my builds they are great, I have never had an issue with them. They are light, and they are great to work with BTW They have just started production on an AR-9mm it is bad A@# I got to go to the range with them and try the prototype Mag Tactical Rocks

If you are using a trigger like one from Chip McCormic ask him for the longer anti walk pins. Mag Tactiacl lowers come with longer pins in the box
