Got my 25X45 barrel finally, 3 days short of 24 weeks(Thank you state of Washington and eminent domain), and finally got to do some shooting and if this is normal, it was WELL worth the wait!! The first 5 shots out of the barrel were into a 2 inch group at 50yds. EVERY group after got smaller until the 5th group. The 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th 5 shot string went into a 3/4 inch hole in the target. I was not really trying to shoot groups just getting on target and pulling the trigger. On my 9th 5 shot group I put it on the bench and really tried to shoot the rifle. I have a 5 shot .303 diameter hole at 50yds. Then I shot the 10th and 11th strings into a 1.1 inch 10 shot group standing. The 12th 5 shot string went into 3/4 inch standing (4 shots into .45 and the last opening it up and I am sure it was me getting excited). Again all were 50 yard groups but these were rounds loaded ONLY for break in. I was not measuring everything to the smallest detail while loading and was using a very light powder charge with 100gr Sierra GameKing bullets just to get the barrel ready for some serious prepped hand loads.

Like Ritch said push the speed and I bet you get groups even smaller a twice the range.
