Finished up a 20" P3 BHW barreled AR15 in 5.56x45. Used an Aero Precision upper and lower. I have function fired it in the side field and will sight it in soon.No feed or fire glitches. It feels like a winner. I'll let y'all know how it shoots. Dave

Thanks, I'm going to replace the scope with a bit better quality that befits a good barrel.

Nice and clean. I bet it will shoot as good as it looks. Congratulations.

Nice simple build. Those Aero lowers and uppers are some of the best values in lowers right now.

We have a shootzenfest coming up 4 June at the National Forest range here in South Carolina, sponsored by PalmettoShootersForum.com. Several people have expressed interest in checking out the barrel. I hope y'all get some traffic from it. I think it will impress just from the side field break-in performance. Thanks, Dave

Amazing what determination and sweat can achieve, I'm new to the AR scene. This is the perfect example of just the basics, look great. I cant tell, but is that a pinned gas block?

Sorry I haven't answered, I've been out of town. The gas block is a two piece clamp-on from Brownell's....inexpensive but utilitarian. I took it out to the range and sited it in with a 3-9x40 I've had on a hunting rifle for a number of years and it shoots perfectly. I ran a total of 50 rounds through over a couple of hours for break in.It definitely shoots better than I can and makes me look like I know what I'm doing on the 150 yd. range we used. Thanks for the great barrel. Everything else can be perfect but if the barrel isn't right the gun isn't right. Dave
