Would like to start gathering parts for a build.... but want to use a side charging upper receiver and appropriately modified BCG. Not having much luck finding sources for those parts through standard search engines. Anyone here have any recommendations for such parts?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Dave

Rainer Arms carries the BCG and a side charger upper (Mega)
Cross Machine Tool also makes a side charger upper
Stonefires carries the side charger upper (mega) and side charger bolt carrier group
Young Manufacturing Makes The bolt carrier group for both the Mega one and the Cross Machine Tool upper, and you can order form their wedsite

I have three of the Crosshill Technologies XSR-15 right hand side charging uppers. Two are in 6X45mm and just waiting for my A-30 barrel to come in next week. I tried both NIB and Nitride bolt carriers. The NIB is the smoothest, and not by much. I'm used to right hand charging weapons, so this was a simple transition for me for my first AR's. Everyone that has fired them or cycled the weapon can't believe how smooth they are. Here are the obligatory pictures. JoeBobs is where I got the NIB carrier/upper. The nitride carrier/upper I got from Flawless Tactical. Glenn

Thanks all! Those look like great parts. I'm leaning towards the crosshill Ambi. Very nice looking rigs Glenn. Now the hard part...deciding on which 6.8 wildcat to start with.

I'm doing the American 30 6.8 wildcat and am tempted to do 6.5x6.8 next. With the Crosshill Technologies Ambi, they come with a modified bolt catch. It is a bolt catch with the release tab cut off. So you will have to replace the one on your lower. If you are assembling a new lower, install it then. Otherwise you can cut the tab on an assembled lower and re-blacken the top where it was cut. Look at NFA also. Ritch uses a bunch of their gear to build custom rifles.
