I am currently waiting a barrel for my big horn action. I ordered the action with 20tpi just for something l like what BHW is offering. Reading this forum about all the advantages of their barrels has me squirming and waiting for an email conformation. Patiently waiting, nah................who I am kidding I think I know what a crack addict feels like waiting for the next fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shot a comp this weekend with my newly installed BHW barrel. It's shooting as expected. Placed 8th out of 48. Going to Albuquerque this weekend for the 2015 New Mexico Precision Rifleman's Championship, Tribute to America's Law Enforcement. I have just over 500 rds through it in the last couple of weeks.

How is the accuracy holding up? Did you do any throat measurements?

Accuracy is still there. Haven't measured to see where the lands are now. I kinda follow the "if it ain't broke don't f@#!% with it". Some of the PRS matches have been hard on it as far as rate of fire. The worst being the mover stage at the Snipers Hide Cup. 28 rds in 2 minutes; 2 at a spinner and 26 at a mover at 560 yds. I managed to hit the mover 21 times though. Barrel was a bit toasty after that. Glad I wasn't shooting my can for that match. And a lot of 10 rds stages in 60 secs. Can't imagine how much life has been taken off the barrel on some of those stages.
Overall very pleased with the barrel.

I'm on my third BHW barrel now (diff cals). First time I cleaned one I was absolutely amazed! My Shilen's would need 20-25 patches with Boretech Eliminator to remove copper after 50 rounds. BHW required one, 1! And they shoot too!
