Got to shoot somemore of these to day and settled on 31.1 gn of AA2200@2.298. They flat out make a raggedy hole consistanty. There running around 2460 fps which is good enough for me Also, I found that if you take your charged tray of cases and aet it on the center bolt of your running tumbler , you can settle the powder to get consistant ogive measurements. This will get you out of a slightly compressed condition. Now on to trying the Hornady 150gn sst

Sounds like it is working well. A long drop tube will help on the powder also BTW.

I wonder how Reloader 7 would do with those 125's?

Ive never used one of those. Any recommendations on one? Sinclair has them. They have different tubes for different measures. Any will do fine. I have seen some that are used with a measure if you don't have a measure. For CPCT RL7 is one that will work for the cartidge. I like RL10 for the 125. I used RL7 for 200 grain subsonics. They shot very well. Greg

RL7 is my powder of choice in the A30. I works well with most all the bullet weights. The best being the 125 grain bullets.

I'm going with the Barnes 130's. I live in lead free California, so I have no other choice for my hunting bullets. The 110 might work as well, but coastal hogs can get BIG!!

Remember your speeds will be down a bit on those solids. They are long for weight and that hurts the pressure levels.

I'm going to ladder 27-30 grains of Reloader 7 and check for pressure signs while fire forming the brass at the same time, then check for speed on a safe load with formed brass from that load. Sound right? It's what I did with my 6x45, so it should work with this one.

That will get you in the groove for a good load.
