Any plans to offer faster twist rates for 7mm cartridges. I'm planning on buying your 1:10 for my 7mm-08 AR build, but would like a 1:9 in one of your Remage barrels when I rebarrel my 280.
Looking to shoot the new Hornady 162 ELD-X, and according to the Berger twist calculator with the velocity out of a 280AI I need atleast a 1:9.5, preferably a 1:9. I guess I could always go with the 7mm mag, but I already have so much brass and all my dies set up for the Remington 280, I'd prefer to stick with it.
If you Aren't planning on any new twist rates, can I ship you my own blank in a 1:9 and have you do the finish machine work for a Remage setup?
The Hornady 139SST 7mm-08 should shoot just fine out of the 1:10 though, Hoping to get it done in the next 6 months.

Decisions like that are based on demand an in this case very low. BHW does not turn customer supplied blanks. Greg

Isn't the 1:10 twist in the poly design more like a 1:9? Im shooting 160 gr in my 7mm08 with great stability.

It really is 1:10 but the lowered friction seems to let you go a bit faster than you would expect. Not unusual to find that shooting a heavier than reasonable for the twist event occurs. I don't know why. I just smile and seat the heavier bullets. The phenomena is not always across the board for some but then I don't know their reloading practices. Greg

Yes. I miss spoke. I did mean it was a 1:10 twist but yes by the usual faster velocity, it helps stabilize the higher bc pills. Is that a little better?
