Hello everyone at BHW form. Looking to build a 6x45 or 25x45 to hunt deer here in the mountain state not sure which one?

welcome. it's hard to make that kind of decision, i know! i was thinking 6x6.8 or 6.5x6.8 and wound up wiht 264lbc. LOL what happened there! good lluck on your decision.

Welcome aboard. Those are so close in performance, I'd look at bullet selection and probably go with 6mm. Good luck either way..

Welcome to the board. Big dilemma to start but for plin simplicity and choices of bullet weights I would favor the 6 MM. I personally believe it is more flexible and being able to obtain dies also will give a push to the little one.
We sell a bunch of both and build all the barrels for SHARPS in the 25X45. I suppose I'm biased as it was my first non-223 cartridge I used in IPSC though neither is a wildcat ta this time thanks to SAAMI a few years ago.
