after about a year of having parts sitting around. i finnaly put everything together. 24 inch 7 mag barrel from bhw on a rem action. i put a few rounds of hornady 139 interlocks down range to zero this evening. they grouped right at an inch. i tried uploading pics but my phone freezes on the pic screen for some reason. the rifle itsself handles well. i had the barrel turned to a little less than a sendero contour and is sitting in a b& c light tactical stock. really looking forward to start hand loading for it.

the stock is a bell and carlson. i believe it was called their light tactical stock. and its wearing a vortex viper 4-16x44 in talley rings. its still a bit heavier than i originally wanted. loaded with optics and a sound suppressor its right at 11.4 pounds. i wasn't planning on carrying it around all day. but I'm very happy on how it turned out.

update on the 7 mag. went hunting with her this morning to bag a doe. i built this gun in hopes of a longrange critter getter and took a doe at about 20 yards. it performed flawlessly with a well placed neck shot

i will say she might have taken one step before she expired. maybe the next one will be out a bit farther. I've taken two this year at over 200 with my 6.8. just hate to pass up meat when given the oppertunity
