I have a Remington r-25 .243. I want to turn it into a 6.5 creedmoor . Will the BHW DPMS compatible barrels work and can I use the same bcg?

I have a Remington r-25 .243. I want to turn it into a 6.5 creedmoor . Will the BHW DPMS compatible barrels work and can I use the same bcg? I spoke to a friend who owns a gun store about your question, ( he hunts with a R-25 ) he says that the R-25 upper and lower are dpms compatible and are made by dpms so the barrel swap should be painless. However if I was you I would shoot remington a email to confrim. BTW welcome to the forum. Lerms |

Yes a DPMS compatible barrel will fit your upper. |
