I was excited to see my barrel waiting for me when I got home from work today, and wasted no time getting the upper put together and tested out. It's a 22", standard contour 1-8 twist threaded 5/8 muzzle for the Harvester suppressor that hopefully will arrive sometime this spring. Handguard is a Matrix, and I used a Radical Arms bcg from Joebob's, which is a bargain at $100 complete. Here is the very first 100 yd gp, shot off shooting sticks so a little wobbly. 58 gr zmax over 31 gr 8208. Seating depth picked randomly as I figured there's no way that bullet is hitting the lands. The low shot was a sighter at 25 yds, adjusted and backed up to 100. I think I can work with that!

I used a Radical Arms bcg from Joebob's, which is a bargain at $100 complete. Bargain? That thing must be stolen! Most carriers go for $100 on their own, and most bolts outside of the normal .223 are close to that by themselves. Radical Arms sells bolts (I don't think they make their own) that are close to that as well. What truck did that dude in the back alley say that entire group fell off of?

Ya it's cheap enough but not sure at this point that it's a good bargain. It's a little rough inside, and the bolt wont lock back on an empty mag with it, but when I swapped out with another bcg it ran fine. I did some polishing and I think that will help. After a good breaking in it should be fine but it's not JP quality for sure.

I've wobbled since the day I was born. I've had to learn to time the wobble. I hope I can achieve similar when I get to the range.
Nice looking build. Should be able to get all the powder burnt on the way out.
Best, CP
