That is a Voretx Viper 6.5X20. Once the money gets together it will probably be a NF of about twice that power range.

What kind of velocity/load are you getting with that 26in? I would suspect it to be pretty darn good high if you wanted it to be. Also what competition are you shooting in?

Quickload says I should be able to get to 2850ish with 4" less barrel. Ran the numbers on the 105 vs 95. Wind drift was the same out to 1000 but there is .8mil less drop on the 95s theoretically. Very solid stuff. How has your barrel life been since you and Ritch seem to have the most experience with the caliber.

I have one with about 1000 through it and it is stil good. It is a 24" AR. The bolt gun has 288 rounds through it. And the ballistics is why we went 95 over 105..LOL Greg
