Hello, I have a 24" BHW bull barrel in 6x45 and have a question about which go gauges to get. I have read that you can interchange the go gauges between a 223 and 6x45 since the shoulder is the same with just the neck increased in the 6x45. I already have the 223 go gauge, do I need a go gauge in 6x45 ? www.midwayusa.com/product/864989/ptg-headspace-go-gauge-6x45-6mm-223-remingtonThanks, Joe

Your .223 Go gauge will do the job. No need to spend the extra cash on the 6x45mm Go gauge.
Congratulations on the new barrel. While I have multiple caliber rifles. My BHW 18" midlength 6x45mm barreled AR is the one I shoot the most. please post a picture on your rifle when it is done.

Welcome to the board. Glenn is right on the gauges but realistically given you have a quality bolt they are a complete waste of money IMHO. Chambering is done so meticulously and with so many fail safes built in at BHW plus they are checked for head space prior to leaving twice with GO/NO GO gauges you can feel pretty confident hey are n the money.

Greg I'm glad to hear how much goes in to the headspacing of the BHW barrels. I bought what I believe to be a high quality BCG to go the the BHW barrel too; this one www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Bolt-Carrier-Group-MPI-Auto-M16-p/bcm-bolt-carrier-group-auto-mp.htmI'll post some pics soon. Thanks, J
