Well it does happen after all! It was a Radical Arms bolt, which was pretty cheap. I figure 1400 rounds through it or so. I noticed my last two groups went to crap and went to clean it, (which it usually doesn't need) and noticed it was missing a lug next to the extractor. I found the lug in the lower. Check out the difference a missing lug can make to accuracy:

Note that I also seated the bullets 10 thou deeper to lower pressure some, as I had been seating this bullet right to the lands and was getting some swipe on the case heads. Seating deeper seemed to aleviate that on these last 5 rounds.
Did I mention that this barrel will shoot?

Everything I've heard about Radical Firearms says your bolt was lucky to live that long....
