Guys and Gals a couple of the other guys here have the new 243 LBC up and running and getting some outstanding groups out of it with everything they have shot through it so far, seems that it will shoot MOA with every load and bullet they have tried. They along with my self will be posting range reports and keeping everyone up dated in the next few weeks as we work up different loads and check velocities. ;D The cartridge is a 264 lbc with a 6mm bullet Its going to be a long 2 weeks waiting to get home from work and shoot the new caliber , and i KNOW Kerry and Ritch wont rub it in........

Im shooting a 20 inch 1 in 10 twist Black Hole BBL. Here are some velocities so far. I have only used one power H4895
70 Grain Sierra HPBT Im getting 3256 FPS Im going to try some other powders for this bullet.
95 grain Berger VLD Im getting 2965 FPS so far. Pretty darn impressive I think out of a 20 inch BBL!!
Ill let you know as I keep working with different powders..

Haven't seen anything about this round yet, is it on a 10 or 15 platform?

Its on a AR15 frame,,, I think its going to be the best thing since Light bread. LOL
Joking aside its going to be a SWEET caliber, Kerry gave me a report last night he's getting almost 3500fps out of it with a 58 Vmax and no pressure signs and over 2900 fps with a 95 Berger VLD hunting bullet , so its going to be a long range hammer on Predators and Whitetails.
Cant wait for this hitch to be over with to get home and play with mine.

Would be nice to see a photo of a fire formed 243 LBC Thanks I'm out of town today but I bet I could find one. Picture a 6 PPC round, move the shoulder a tad forward shortening up the neck the same amount and you have an idea. here is a 20 caliber version. Just give it some Vita-gro and expand it by .039 and you have it. Greg

Nice pic. Thanks for sharing. Those should be getting some decent performance. What is everyone's experience with the shorter barrels? I have only seen Robert Whitley's data and his are from 24 and 26" barrels which is ok for high power but not so versatile to take into the woods hunting. Still I believe that the BHW barrels should help with performance and accuracy but I don't have experience with this round.
