What factory ammo does anybody shoot to acheive moa accuracy. Im struggling to get a 16" light .308 barrel to have any consistency. Looking for some experience as a place to start. Right now im consistently at between 1.25- 1.75. Mostly handloads. If i can find a factory standard that will give me moa, maybe i can work from there. So far ive shot hornady 150's and fedral 175 gmms. Both roughly 2 moa.

Federal Gold Medal Match 168's would be the first I would try. I would try Remington and Winchester match in the same weight. I use to shoot a bunch of 155 IMI's in my M1A's that shot well. The big strike against much factory can be lot to lot variation. I found FGMM to be great on consistency. Greg

Hornady factory 155 and 168 amax seem to be averaging 1.250" need more volume to verify consistency.
