Any word on how much longer the wait is on the production barrels? I ordered back on March 8th... I don't have any information on those. Call them direct on that one. Greg

Ok I have a question for if I ever recieve this barrel. It says the best way to break it in is 5 shots of copper jacketed bullets, then run solvent through on a patch... repeat up to 10 times. Is there a certain type of ammo that is cj that might work best for the break in process? certain grain? Brand? Any info will help

Any will work for that exercise. I just shoot my load work ups. Personally I don't do any of that breaking in on these barrels. Run a dry patch through them and go shoot id my method. There is some pulling lubricant in the bore on non-coatdd/non-black barrels. Do not clean that out.
What did you order? Was it cerakoted? If so that always adds a bunch of time.

Ok good to know, i didnt know if it would make a big difference or not, as long as im just shooting rounds it should break in naturally
I just got one of the production barrels... mid length 18". Since its the production I didnt get many option except for fluting and ceracoke but didnt pay for the extras. This is the last part im waiting for my ar to be complete so im getting very impatient :/

I fully understand the impatience. The production barrels shoot well.
