Any plans to make a 7mm Creedmoor barrel? I want to rebarrel my Ruger RPR soon but I'd rather go with a Creedmoor case than a 7mm-08. Not the end of the world if not just easier to load long bullets may length and better brass life.

I was leaning that way before my 243 lbc build but now I feel it's redundant as my velocity is only down a little over 100fps. Not to mention barrel life should be more than double. I haven't heard much on 6 Creed barrel life but I'm thinking match accuracy would be 1500 + or -. I built a 7mm-08 Savage so my son could shoot long range a few years ago and it kinda became his gun. I gave it to him for a graduation present last year but now I want a 7mm again. Worst case I'll go 7mm-08. Even using H1000 At a tad over 1000 rounds my 243Win RPR has gone from 1/4 MOA to 1MOA. I've heard horror stories of guys shooting out .308 barrels due to poor quality in an effort to get RPRs out the door.

6creed lasts about 1300rounds in PRS shooting according to the half a dozen PRS guys that I've asked about it as it's gotten very popular at my matches. They're all pitching pipes at 1300 or just inside of that. A 7mm Creedmore would do a good bit less for barrel life than my 7BR, something in the 2500-4000 round range depending on how fast you shoot and what exact powder and charge is used. A 7BR barrel burning my loads is good for about 5000-7000 depending on how fast it's shot and a 7BR burns about 10 grains less powder than either the 7cm or 7mm-08. 7CM would probably get a much better throat life if not abused.
