Is a 1/7 twist ideal for a 10.5” barrel? Or is 1/8 ok? Is the carbine gas system on that barrel finicky at all? Do most people run adjustable gas blocks with that length barrel? -Leo

My M16 is a 12. Not overly finicky in my experience. I don't run adjustable on these. Nothing wrong with having one handy though. Greg

Ok, thanks for the reply I’ve never owned a short barrel like this before. Just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything obvious i was missing or needing. My Hbar M16 Upper is a 1/12 twist too, it’s shoots great but puts anything heavier than a 55gr sideways through the paper
